Full Creative Strategy
In 2023, Keyera celebrated a major milestone, 25 years of success, with events across Alberta in Calgary, Grande Prairie, Drayton Valley, and Edmonton. The vision was clear: create a consistent, high-quality experience in each city so every employee felt equally valued and celebrated.
Our role was to design and deliver the after-party experience for Calgary’s celebration, then take the party on the road to three more cities, balancing local talent with traveling performers to keep the energy and atmosphere seamless from stop to stop.
The Experience
Calgary set the tone with a full restaurant buyout and a lively welcome inside complete with tarot card readers, a photobooth, and a DJ. The highlight? A 400-person conga line weaving through and around the venue.
From there, the celebration went provincial. Over one weekend a few months later, the fuze team and performers road-tripped from Grande Prairie to Drayton Valley to Edmonton, creating a three-day celebration tour. Guests enjoyed a vibrant mix of entertainment, including a 3-piece band, face painters, airbrush tattoos, balloon artists, caricature artists, glitter tattoos, lawn games, a photo booth, and a DJ who played all three events.
Designed to Draw a Crowd
Sourcing entertainment for multiple cities brought a unique challenge - finding the right local talent where possible while ensuring the same standard of quality everywhere. In some cases, talent traveled to multiple stops; in others, hometown performers joined the lineup. Every detail was accounted for, from hotel reservations to flights, car rentals, and equipment logistics.
The result was a consistent event framework that allowed each city to feel equally special while reflecting its own local flair.
Live, Layered, and Unforgettable
Each celebration combined interactive entertainment with high-energy music and activities, keeping guests engaged for hours. Whether it was the buzz around the caricature stations, the colourful airbrush tattoos, or the friendly competition at lawn games, every element contributed to a festive, community-driven atmosphere.
A Custom Creation
We didn’t just replicate a party, we replicated the party, city after city. From Calgary’s 400-guest kickoff to Drayton Valley, Grande Prairie, and Edmonton (each hosting around 250–275 guests), every event carried the same celebratory spirit and attention to detail.
Even unexpected curveballs, like rescheduling the original June event in the wake of fire evacuation orders, didn’t slow the momentum. By September, the anniversary roadshow was rolling stronger than ever.

Four cities. One unforgettable celebration. Hundreds of employees across Alberta experienced the same level of joy, connection, and recognition for Keyera’s 25th anniversary. The combination of meticulous planning, vibrant entertainment, and seamless execution ensured the milestone was not just marked, but truly celebrated everywhere.
